RAWALPINDI, May 23 (Alliance News): Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, on Friday unveiled comprehensive evidence of decades-long Indian state-sponsored terrorism targeting Pakistan, particularly in Balochistan, and exposed the involvement of Indian intelligence agency RAW in orchestrating and financing terrorist activities.
Addressing a joint press conference with Secretary Interior Khurram Agha, the ISPR chief referred to multiple dossiers submitted to global forums, including the UN in 2009, 2015, and 2019, which provided irrefutable evidence of India’s subversive role.
He reminded that India had historically fostered terrorist networks, citing the formation of ‘Mukti Bahini’ in 1971 and the arrest of Indian naval officer Kulbhushan Yadav in 2016, who confessed to orchestrating terrorism in Pakistan on behalf of the Indian state.
Lt. Gen. Sharif highlighted the recent wave of brutal attacks in Balochistan, including the killing of 12 laborers in Nushki, two in Kech, 10 in Harnai, and the horrific May 21 attack on a school bus in Khuzdar that claimed six innocent children’s lives and injured 51 more. “These are not isolated incidents but part of a broader Indian campaign—Fitna al Hindustan—aimed at destabilizing Pakistan,” he said.
He also pointed to coordinated Indian-backed terrorist actions during May 6–7 targeting mosques and civilian gatherings, killing 40 people including 22 children. “This is the real face of India’s cruelty — targeting sleeping laborers, children, and worshippers with impunity,” he said, warning that such inhuman acts will have serious consequences.
The ISPR DG emphasized that Pakistan’s security forces have conducted over 93,000 counter-terrorism operations, with more than 52,000 in Balochistan alone, killing over 1,700 terrorists since 2024, including 203 in 2025 in Balochistan. He declared that the state will dismantle all terror networks and hold perpetrators accountable.
Responding to a question, he said India’s agitation stems from Pakistan’s successful crackdown on illegal trade routes and rising socio-economic development in Balochistan. “Their frustration is showing — they are sponsoring proxies like the Balochistan Yakjehti Committee (BYC), which has no real support.”
He also slammed Indian propaganda machinery for spreading fake news, especially after Pakistan’s decisive actions, citing the Mianwali incident where Indian outlets pushed false narratives using fabricated images. “They attempt to shift global attention from internal human rights abuses by blaming Pakistan,” he added.
He condemned India’s continued occupation of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) and called for a just and lasting resolution of the dispute. “Kashmir is not an internal matter; it is a recognized international dispute involving Pakistan, India, and China.”
On India’s alleged attempts to block Pakistan’s water supply, he termed it a grave violation of the Indus Waters Treaty, stressing that Pakistan would respond diplomatically and strategically to any unilateral move. “We are united and will not allow this violation to go unchecked,” he said.
The DG ISPR concluded with a stern warning: “India has miscalculated Pakistan’s resilience. Let them try again — we remain ready, resolute, and unbroken.”
