Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan Arrives in Pakistan for Bilateral Talks

ISLAMABAD, Jul 9 (Alliance News): Foreign Minister of Turkiye Hakan Fidan arrived in Islamabad late Tuesday night on an official visit aimed at strengthening bilateral ties and advancing mutual cooperation across key areas.

Upon his arrival, he was warmly received by Additional Secretary (West Asia) Ambassador Syed Ali Asad Gillani, the Foreign Office said in a statement.

During his stay, the Turkish foreign minister is scheduled to hold high-level meetings with Pakistani leadership to discuss a wide range of matters of mutual interest, including regional and global developments.

Earlier, Turkish Minister of National Defence Yasar Güler also arrived in Pakistan on a separate visit. He is likewise set to hold consultations with Pakistani officials on defence and strategic cooperation.

The simultaneous visits of two senior Turkish ministers underscore the depth of Pakistan-Turkiye relations, which are rooted in shared history, cultural affinity, and mutual trust.

The engagements are expected to further reinforce diplomatic, economic, and security collaboration between the two brotherly nations.
