ISLAMABAD, Aug 14 (Alliance News): Ambassadors and diplomatic representatives from friendly countries across the world have extended warm congratulations to the government and people of Pakistan on the occasion of the country’s 80th Independence Day.
They are reaffirming their commitment to strengthening bilateral relations, promoting regional peace and expanding cooperation in trade, investment, education, climate action, innovation and people-to-people exchanges.
The congratulatory messages reflected the international community’s appreciation of Pakistan’s growing diplomatic role, its efforts for regional stability and dialogue, and its commitment to economic development and international cooperation.
Dean of the Diplomatic Corps and Ambassador of Turkmenistan Atadjan Movlamov conveyed heartfelt greetings on behalf of the diplomatic community in Islamabad.
He praised Pakistan’s constructive diplomacy and its continued efforts to promote peace, mutual respect and dialogue among nations.
He highlighted the longstanding friendship between Turkmenistan and Pakistan and appreciated the Government of Pakistan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, state institutions, media organizations and the business community for their continuous support to the diplomatic corps.
Ambassador of Indonesia Chandra Warsenanto Sukotjo underscored the historic, cultural and religious bonds shared by Indonesia and Pakistan, noting that the national days of the two countries are celebrated only three days apart.
He wished Pakistan lasting peace, prosperity and sustainable development, concluding his message with “Pakistan Zindabad.”
Uzbek Ambassador Alisher Tukhtaev expressed confidence that Pakistan and Uzbekistan would continue expanding cooperation in trade, investment, regional connectivity, transport and economic integration. He prayed for Pakistan’s unity, strength, prosperity and a peaceful future.
Philippine Ambassador Dr Emmanuel R. Fernandez also extended warm greetings, highlighting more than seven decades of friendly diplomatic relations between Pakistan and the Philippines.

Egyptian Ambassador Dr Ihab Abdelhamid reaffirmed the historic and fraternal ties between Egypt and Pakistan and expressed his country’s desire to deepen cooperation in political, economic, educational and cultural fields. He wished Pakistan continued peace, security and prosperity.
Vietnamese Ambassador Pham Anh Tuan congratulated Pakistan on its Independence Day and appreciated the growing partnership between the two countries in trade, education, agriculture and regional cooperation. He expressed hope that bilateral relations would continue to flourish in the years ahead.
Tajik Ambassador Yusuf Toir Sharifzoda described Pakistan as an important strategic partner and highlighted the centuries-old historical and cultural links between the two countries. He expressed confidence that the strategic partnership would continue to deepen for the mutual benefit of both nations.
Kyrgyz Chargé d’Affaires Aibek Tilebaliev reaffirmed the close friendship between Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan and voiced optimism for stronger bilateral relations, enhanced regional connectivity and greater people-to-people exchanges. He concluded his message with “Pakistan Zindabad.”
Russian Ambassador Albert P. Khorev praised the resilience, courage and determination of the Pakistani people and appreciated the positive momentum in Pakistan-Russia relations. He expressed confidence that cooperation in trade, energy, education and regional connectivity would continue to grow, concluding his message with “Pakistan Zindabad! Rus-Pak Dosti Paindabad!”
Swedish Ambassador Alex Berg von Linde extended warm greetings to the people of Pakistan on the country’s Independence Day.
She said the occasion provides an opportunity to celebrate Pakistan’s remarkable journey and acknowledge the contributions of its diverse and talented people in shaping a brighter future.
She expressed hope that the coming years would bring greater prosperity, resilience and opportunities for all Pakistanis while reaffirming Sweden’s commitment to strengthening cooperation in sustainable development, climate action, education, innovation, gender equality and trade.
German Ambassador H.E. Ms. Ina Lepel congratulated the government and people of Pakistan on the country’s 80th Independence Day and reaffirmed Germany’s commitment to further strengthening its longstanding partnership with Pakistan.

US Chargé d’Affaires Natalie Baker congratulated Pakistan on its Independence Day and reaffirmed the United States’ commitment to its enduring partnership with Pakistan.
